Almond flour is a low-carb, gluten-free baking alternative to standard wheat flour. Our organic almond flour is made of – you guessed it – organic almonds, grown without pesticides or chemicals. The almonds, which are not blanched, are ground up coarse consistency, similar to that of wheat and cornmeal.
Sometimes known as almond meal, almond flour is particularly popular with customers on gluten-free diets, as it serves for almost all of the same uses as wheat flour. Compared to other flours, almond flour is especially flavorful, with a nutty taste that works with many other foods.
