Soap Making
Sunflower has a high content of unsaturated fatty acids. This is wonderful to enhance your soap with their skin therapeutic benefits, and Sunflower is definitely priced to be a soap maker’s choice. However, it should be combined with more saturated fats to yield a reliable result. Replacing up to 10% of the total fats with Sunflower oil yields a very mild, moisturizing soap, yet tracing times and overall hardness of the soap may be affected if you use too much.
